1. Purpose
Jaipur Blossom works with influencers, content creators, brand ambassadors, and celebrities to promote our products across digital platforms including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and others.
This policy establishes the mandatory disclosure requirements for all individuals who create content promoting Jaipur Blossom in exchange for payment, products, barter, commission, or any other material benefit â in compliance with the Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI) Guidelines for Influencer Advertising in Digital Media (2021)Â and the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
Â
|
This policy is binding on all creators who collaborate with Jaipur Blossom. Failure to comply may result in termination of the collaboration and recovery of fees or products provided. |
Â
2. Who This Policy Applies To
This policy applies to any individual or agency that:
âąÂ Receives payment (cash, bank transfer, UPI) for creating content featuring Jaipur Blossom products
âąÂ Receives free products, gifts, or PR packages from Jaipur Blossom
âąÂ Receives products in exchange for content (barter collaboration)
âąÂ Earns affiliate commission or referral fees linked to Jaipur Blossom sales
âąÂ Is appointed as a Brand Ambassador â paid or unpaid
âąÂ Receives invitations to events, shoots, or experiences sponsored by Jaipur Blossom
Â
Note: This applies regardless of follower count. Whether you have 1,000 or 1,000,000 followers, ASCI disclosure requirements are the same.
Â
3. The Core Disclosure Rule
Â
|
Every piece of promotional content must clearly disclose the commercial relationship with Jaipur Blossom. Disclosure must be: prominent, upfront, and impossible to miss. |
Â
ASCI defines a "material connection" as any relationship that could influence the content â this includes payment, free products, discounts, barter, commissions, or personal relationships with brand personnel. If a material connection exists, disclosure is mandatory â no exceptions.
Â
4. Required Disclosure Labels by Collaboration Type
Â

Â
5. Platform-Specific Disclosure Placement
Â

Label in first line of caption. Use Instagram's 'Paid Partnership' tag. |
|

|

|
Blog / Website |
Disclosure at the top of the post, before any brand mention. |
Â
Key rule: Disclosure must be placed where a viewer will see it before engaging with the content â not buried in hashtags, not in the comments section, and not after a 'see more' fold.
Â
6. What Is Not Acceptable
The following disclosure practices are explicitly prohibited under ASCI guidelines and this policy:
âąÂ Not disclosing at all â even if the content appears organic or genuinely positive
âąÂ Burying disclosure in hashtags â e.g., placing #Ad as the 15th hashtag in a list of 20
âąÂ Using vague or ambiguous labels â words like 'collab', 'partner', 'thanks to', 'in association with' do not meet ASCI standards
âąÂ Disclosure only in caption when content is a video â video content requires verbal or on-screen disclosure
âąÂ Disclosing after the fold â disclosure after 'see more' is not considered upfront
âąÂ Disclosing only in Stories highlights â if the original Story had no disclosure, adding it later in a Highlight is insufficient
âąÂ Using the brand's disclosure language to mislead â e.g., posting '#Gifted' when content was actually paid
Â
7. Content Accuracy & Brand Representation
All creators must ensure that any claims made about Jaipur Blossom products in their content are:
âąÂ Truthful and based on genuine personal experience with the product
âąÂ Not misleading regarding product quality, fit, colour, or delivery timelines
âąÂ Not making therapeutic, medical, or exaggerated benefit claims
âąÂ Consistent with the product descriptions on jaipurblossom.com
Â
Jaipur Blossom may review content before publication and request modifications if it contains inaccurate claims. However, creators retain full editorial independence over their genuine opinions â we do not require or expect falsely positive reviews.
Â
8. Jaipur Blossom's Obligations
As the brand engaging creators, Jaipur Blossom commits to:
âąÂ Informing all creators of ASCI disclosure requirements before the collaboration begins
âąÂ Including disclosure requirements explicitly in all collaboration briefs and agreements
âąÂ Not requesting creators to omit or minimise disclosures to make content appear more organic
âąÂ Not penalising creators for honest negative feedback about our products
âąÂ Providing creators with accurate product information to enable truthful content
Â
9. Consequences of Non-Compliance
If a creator publishes content that violates ASCI disclosure requirements:
1. Jaipur Blossom will notify the creator and request immediate correction of the disclosure
2. The creator must correct the content within 24 hours of notification
3. Failure to correct within 24 hours will result in termination of the collaboration
4. In cases of deliberate non-disclosure, Jaipur Blossom reserves the right to recover the value of products, fees, or commissions provided
5. Repeated or deliberate violations may be reported to ASCI
Â
ASCI complaints against creators can be filed by any member of the public at ascionline.in. Non-compliant content can result in ASCI issuing a public complaint and requiring the creator to delete or modify the content.
Â
10. Quick Compliance Checklist for Creators
Before publishing any content featuring Jaipur Blossom, verify:
âąÂ Disclosure label is visible before any brand mention or product appearance
âąÂ Label uses approved hashtags from Section 4 of this policy
âąÂ For video content â disclosure is verbal within the first 30 seconds AND as on-screen text
âąÂ For Stories â disclosure is an on-screen text overlay, not just a caption
âąÂ Language of disclosure matches language of content
âąÂ No false or exaggerated product claims are made
âąÂ Platform's native branded content / paid partnership tool is activated where available
